Polyvore #04

As aulas de costura têm continuado e já posso dizer que fiz a minha primeira saia e o meu primeiro crop top. Obviamente têm uma ou outra pequena falha mas aos poucos e poucos começo a entender como a coisa funciona. Quando apanhar um dia de maior luz (que actualmente parece algo de outro mundo) vou tentar tirar uma foto para futura recordação. Entretanto tenho que me ficar por criações no Polyvore.

I'm still having sewing classes and I can finally say that I already did my first skirt and my first croptop. Obviously we're talking about clothes with a few small mistakes but I think I am finally understanding how this all works. When we finally have a day with better light (right now it kinda sounds like an idea taken from a whole new world) I will try to take a picture. Until then I'll have to entertain myself with Polyvore.

Comecei a ter aulas de costura à duas semanas atrás. Duas vezes por semana, três horas cada aula. Sempre pensei que costura fosse bem mais fácil do que realmente é. Parte de mim sempre pensou que seria uma espécie de Cristiano Ronaldo da costura, chegava lá e pumba...um talento natural. Não, não estive nem perto disso! Vou acabar amanhã a minha primeira saia mas ainda estou um pouco naquela fase em que a minha costura parece feita por alguém com uma alcoolemia de 1.2 g/l. Mas pouco a pouco hei-de lá chegar! Acho eu. Ou melhor, espero eu!

I finally started having sewing classes two weeks ago. Two times a week, three hours each class. I have to admit it's way more difficult than I thought it would be. Always pictured in my head this whole scenario where I would be the Cristiano Ronaldo of couture. I would just appear at my first class and BAM...pure natural talent. I was clearly wrong! Tomorrow I'll finish my first skirt but I'm still at that point where my sewing skills equals to someone who was drinking all night long. But I will slowly get better, I think. I mean, I hope so!
